Mr. Salierno studied political science at Saint Peter’s University and then followed with a Juris Doctorate degree from the Seton Hall University School of Law. He then served as a judicial law clerk to a judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County.
Mr. Salierno has and continues to develop a wide range of experience in general civil litigation, including appeals before the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. Salierno regularly appears before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, Superior Court of New Jersey, and various municipal courts throughout New Jersey. In particular, he has represented hundreds of residential and commercial landlords and tenants addressing matters of evictions, ejectments, unlawful detainers, and consumer fraud actions.
In 2020, John earned the distinction of Certified Civil Trial Attorney by the
Supreme Court of New Jersey.
He presently serves as the Chair of the Supreme Court of New Jersey District VI
Fee Arbitration Committee (Hudson County).
